Oh my goodness! This is amazing! It's much better than I could EVER do. Maybe if you made the disc on his back slightly bigger it would look more realistic :3 I really /really/ like how you matched the style of the water perfectly to the video games. Also, he looks try dignified, so you did an excellent job on his face and facial features. His tail kind of fades away, so maybe make it more white than red near the end? It would be a lot more easy to see the tail. But very very /very/ good job overall.
